Personnel AND Technologies: ONHP Specialists Took Part in the III Congress of Engineers of Siberia
III Congress of Engineers of Siberia took place in Omsk from May 28 to May 30. More than 450 experts and specialists from 18 regions discussed Russian engineering growth prospects. "OMSKNEFTEKHIMPROEKT” JSC (ONHP) represented the Omsk region among the leading petrochemical design companies.
On the first day of forum, Mr. Andrey L. Goncharov, ONHP General Director, participated in the section on Business Cooperation in the Arctic Region "Development of the Arctic Region – State Target for the Regions". In his speech, ONHP Director presented ONHP capacities and resources, required to solve Russian Arctic areas development targets.
ONHP has all necessary competencies for oil and gas fields design at the continental shelf of the Russian Arctic. We understand that the level of engineering goals requires the unification of multidisciplinary experience and efforts. But even today we are capable and willing to begin the facilities design in the Russian Arctic in tandem with the leading engineering companies", - highlighted Mr. Andrey L. Goncharov.
The topic in regard to application of Siberian industrial and scientific resources to solve Russian continental shelf reclamation tasks was continued in the section “On directions of the development of RF engineering Legislation".
Mr. Denis I. Madgazin, ONHP Serbian Branch Director reported on the "Development of engineering clusters as the Russian Arctic Areas state target solution bases".
In the course of the discussion, section participants agreed on the necessity to unite regulatory as well as normative and technical aspects, focus on the advanced international standards, enhance the role and status of engineering profession, define "engineering cluster."
Chairman of the Internal Committee on the development of RF Legislature on engineering activity, Mr. Igor M. Zuga who was the section moderator, highlighted the importance and urgency of issues raised in the report.
Young Students Forum "Engineer – profession of the future" was held on the second day of the III Congress of Engineers. ONHP employees discussed dual education options together with school and university students, teachers and employers. More than two hundred people participated in a dialogue platform. Ms. Elena Turusheva, ONHP HR Department Head, Ph.D. in Economics was the moderator of the section. She shared with forum guests her experience of working with school and university students under "School-University-Company" program. Importance and efficiency of ONHP project is already noticed by professional environment.
ONHP employees implemented a number of proposals in the Resolution of III Congress of Engineers of Siberia related to the crucial issues of Russian engineering development and personnel training for high-tech industries.
