ONHP at SIM. Ready, steady, go!

More than 140 employees of PAO OMSKNEFTEKHIMPROEKT (ONHP) took part in Siberian International Marathon which was held in Omsk on September 20, 2015. ONHP team was the most numerous. Before the start the specialists of the company arranged a large sport & cultural performance demonstrating their creativity in front of the Public Affairs Center building.

 For reference:

Siberian International Marathon (SIM) has been carried out in Omsk since 1999. In 2015 more than 7000 people participated in the marathon, representing various regions of our country and other countries such as France, Japan, Ethiopia, Switzerland, Kenya etc. This year winner of the men’s race is Mr. Moiben Laban Kipkemoi (Kenya) and the women’s winner is Ms. Albina Maiorova (Cheboksary, Russia).

Participation in Siberian International Marathon has become a good tradition for PAO OMSKNEFTEKHIMPROEKT held up for many years by almost all of the company employees: some of them in the role of runners and others acting as fans. Young professionals, veterans, university and school students go on their marks. Everyone can choose the distance he/she can cover and it does not matter how many kilometers will be run: five or ten, the most important are those never-to-be-forgotten feelings when you get on marks with the famous athletes.

ONHP has its own distinguished marathon runner. It is Ms. Sheveleva, young professional, student of Siberian State Automobile and Highway Academy who takes part in the marathon running the main distance for the second year. This slim girl manages to combine her study in the university, work in ONHP and daily trainings.

Every year the marathon race is preceded by one of the most favorite corporate sport & cultural performance involving both ONHP employees and their families and this year is not an exception. Almost all of the company departments prepared songs and dances. Strict jury judged the teams of ONHP departments, the results of this contest will be given in the near future.  The choice will be very difficult, because all the teams made every possible effort: their performances were really vivid and striking. The most creative teams will be awarded with prizes and certificates. But these are not prizes which ONHP employees are interested in; they take part in the marathon to get positive emotions and to communicate with each other informally.
