ONHP Research Engineering Center at RAO/CIS Offshore 2015

Specialists of Research Engineering Center for Area Development and Maritime Spatial Planning, PAO OMSKNEFTEKHIMPROEKT (ONHP) structural subdivision in Saint Petersburg headed by Mr. Pavel P. Spirin, are going to visit 12th International Conference and Exhibition for Oil and Gas Resources Development of the Russian Arctic and CIS Continental Shelf RAO/CIS Offshore 2015.

Among planned arrangements there is participation in round-table discussions, visit to an exhibition, meetings with partners and potential clients, acknowledgement with new technologies and exchange of experience.

Within RAO/CIS Offshore 2015 business program framework the issues to be extensively discussed include state of continental shelf resources exploration, feasibility studies of main projects, modern subsea technology solutions development, environmental and industrial safety.

For Research Engineering Center, the topic related to artic development isn’t new. The specialists have been researching this problem for a long time. In 2011 Center members (at that time being a part of “NIIP Gradostrtoitelstva” JSC) prepared a law draft “On Russian Federation Arctic Zone” as well as materials related to city-planning exploration of Russian Federation Arctic Zone for State Council of Russia. Since that time institute have completed more than 2000 of working procedures in arctic zone, best-variant modeling approaches accounting ground special features, difficult social-economic conditions and issues related to efficient exploration and economic development.
