OMSK REGION GOVERNMENT AWARDED ONHP WITH A CERTIFICATE OF HONOR

ONHP CEO, Mr. Igor M. ZUGA was awarded by Mr. Alexander Burkov, Acting Omsk Governor, with a Certificate of Honor for active participation in socially beneficial and charitable activities contributing to the highly professional engineers training quality improvement at Coordination Council session aimed at development of professional education which was conducted by the acting head of the region. In the course of the session, Mr. Alexander Burkov, Acting Omsk Governor and Tatyana Dernova, Education Minister of Omsk Region, expressed gratitude to companies’ leaders for active assistance with educational organizations.

ONHP supervises 11 Omsk schools for more than 15 years. The company successfully implements “School-University-Company” program focused on training highly qualified specialists. Every year 80 students from Omsk schools take part in summer internship  as the specialists of various departments. For school students it is the first real-life experience in the field of engineering profession. Internship participants work in software products that allow creating really complex facilities, carry out tests in the geotechnical lab and attend chemistry and technical English lessons. As a graduation activity the students demonstrate the projects which they developed in the course of the practice. Moreover, they show invaluable experience of team work, communication skills and ability to be engaged in a dialogue with the professional community of engineers.

In 2016, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the regional Ministry of Education, ONHP and Singapore's Educare International Consultancy. First practical sessions will be held in ONHP head office in August for 80 Omsk teachers. The project is supported by the acting region head who is confident that in such way ONHP is contributing into the education of the future.  

After receiving the Certificate of Honor, Mr. Igor M. Zuga, ONHP CEO, expressed gratitude to Mr. Alexander Burkov for supporting the educational project. "We are making an investment in the future, in the human resource. And we will do our best to fulfill our lifelong dream - to open the first engineering lyceum in Omsk", - highlighted Mr. Igor M. Zuga.
