ONHP is to train engineering elite for the country

ONHP provided Secondary School No.118 with equipment for robotics classes. It will enable to set up a robotics club at the premises of this school and to create in prospect a complex education platform to train future engineers. As Mr. Igor M. Zuga, ONHP CEO, said the issue is to create a pool of engineering and technical specialists for Russian companies, to train professionals possessing modern engineering mentality and able to solve the most challenging tasks in high-tech branches of national economy.

ONHP delivered four packages of equipment to school No. 118. In the nearest time it will enable to set up a robotics club for school students of grades 1 to 8 at the premises of this school. At classes the children will get acquainted with designing principles, programming language and will get extra knowledge of physics and chemistry.

A space and rocketry class was already launched in this school in 2015 for school students of grades 10 to 11 who started digging in physical and mathematical disciplines, getting basic knowledge of rocket and space production operations arrangement. Establishment of robotics club in the school in addition to the space and rocketry class will continue to form here a complex system to train specialists for producing sector starting from elementary school. From the very young age the kids will develop skills of project thinking and project work in engineering.

ONHP and School 118 are long-standing partners. Project to set up robotics club in the school is being implemented within ONHP-developed program “SCHOOL-UNIVERSITY-COMPANY” to train engineering specialists which involves 41 Omsk schools and five regional universities. So there is a good reason that ONHP is a partner of the federal program “Robotics – Engineering and Technical Specialists of Innovative Russia” (focus area is Engineering Project).
