ONHP Theatre Group. The God of War. Come and See It First!
On May 8, 2015 ONHP head office witnessed the first night of the play “The God of War” by Yasmina Reza staged by ONHP theatre group. The performance was directed by Mr. Moisey Filippovich Vasiliadi, People's Artist of Russia.
Yasmina Reza identifies her play as a comedy, but after you have seen the performance, you understand that it also includes tragicomedy and drama.
This play describes two families, they meet together to analyse their children’s quarrel, but in parallel they touch upon many other family problems and important issues of war and peace in every family.
ONHP engineers starring in the perfromance: Ms. Anastasia V. Redkina, Interdisciplines Engineering Department Head, Mr. Aleksandr A. Bulgakov, 3 cat. engineer, Instrumentation and Automation Control Department, Ms. Marina I. Belova, 3 cat. engineer, Piping Engineering Department and Mr. Vladimir S. Rekaev, Group Leader, Piping Engineering Department.
There were only four actors on the stage throughout the performance, but the talented acting grabbed the audience keeping people on the edge of their seats from the beginning till the fall of the curtain. Spectators watched the play breathlessly, laughing and sympathizing with the characters. This first night proved again that engineers are creative and many-sided people.
At the end of the premiere there were long applauses, excited audience vigorously discussed the play and shared their impressions, even in verse form.
