ONHP supports ecological project and sustainable consumption

ONHP, being an international engineering company, pays great attention to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are aimed at improving the welfare and protection of our planet. One of the well-known social initiatives of ONHP is the School-University-Company program. It is being implemented together with government officials, public and educational companies of Omsk region. School-University-Company is a comprehensive program, including various social and educational projects. One of these projects is Chemical Engineering School at ONHP. Vladislava Skosyrskaya, a graduate of Chemical Engineering School, took part in the All-Russian Contest "Big Change". This is a project of presidential platform "Russia - the country of opportunities". The main goal of the competition is to give each participant an opportunity to reveal their areas of strength and hidden talents. In 2020, more than 1 million high school students took part in Big Change competition. 600 schoolchildren (incl.300 students of 9-10 Grade and 300 of 11 Grade) became the winners in this Contest. Vladislava chose the direction "Save nature!" and submitted her project "The Second Life of Wind Turbine Blades" for the competition. The main idea of her report was grinding of outdated blades to the size of gravel and use them later as a substrate for road surfaces. Ms. Olga A. Reutova, Chemical Engineering School Leader together with Ms. E. V. Nikitenko, teacher of biology at School No. 61 became her mentors. Vladislava made it to the final which will be held in Artek from November 6 to November 26. Let's wish Vladislava good luck!
