ONHP negotiate with Korean Engineering Leaders

On February 12-14, 2013 OMSKNEFTEKHIMPROEKT JSC (ONHP) delegation took a business trip to the largest enterprises of the Republic of Korea.

ONHP specialists intended to get acquainted with South Korean innovations in high-tech sectors, took a keen interest in experience of national companies in design, construction and modernization of facilities within petrochemical complexes. The agenda included ONHP visits to South Korean corporations that have reached competition success at an international level.

Negotiations with Samsung Engineering Top Management were held in Seoul. ONHP specialists presented Omsk Design Institute and got to know capabilities of the Korean company. Issues regarding construction and modernization of petrochemical objects were discussed during the meeting.

ONHP specialists visited Hyundai Heavy Industries which is one of the world leaders in shipbuilding and heavy equipment manufacturing. At the end of January the corporation opened a Plant for electrical equipment production Artem, Primorsky Krai and currently Hyundai Heavy Industries is willing to extend its presence in Russian market.

During the visit to Daelim Industrial Co.  both Parties discussed a possibility to establish a Daelim office in Omsk as well as participation together with ONHP in the designing of facilities in Russia.

Further, ONHP representatives negotiated with Top Management of Sunjin Engineering & Architecture and Korea National Oil Corporation.

ONHP delegation offered to representatives of Korean companies to return a visit to Omsk with intent to develop and foster future cooperation.
