ONHP Master's Degree Student Graduate Thesis is one of the best in Russia

Graduation thesis of Mr. Ilya KOMAROV, Omsk State Technical University Bachelor Degree Student, now working in ONHP flexi-time hit top ten among the best graduate research projects in Russia. By the invitation of “Reliable replacement” fund – organizer of All-Russian Contest of Graduation Theses, Mr. Ilya KOMAROV will take part in Russian Energy Week in the frame of which on October 06, 2018 the main youth event in energy efficiency and energy sector development – youth day “Brighter together. Russian Energy Week 2018” will be held.

All-Russian Contest of graduation qualification thesis of Bachelors and Masters Degrees among technical universities aimed at electrical power, electrotechnical and ecological topics is held by “Reliable replacement” fund annually. About 400 research works took part in this event in 2018. Mr. Ilya KOMAROV graduate works participated in All-Russian Contest in 2018 called: “Measuring internal discharges in cable insulation made of cross-linked polyethylene and analysis of their characteristics” hit top ten of the best bachelors theses in Russia. The project has a practical application and refers mainly to energy systems safety.

Now Mr. Ilya KOMAROV is a student of the first year of magistracy of Omsk State Technical University and is currently working in ONHP. Replying to the question about the prize as a shortlist candidate, he highlighted that “The prize is not important for me, I haven’t even thought about it. For me it is a great honor to take part in the event where I am invited as a shortlist candidate of All-Russian Contest”. In the scope of youth day a meeting with the RF Minister of Energy, Mr. Alexander Novak will be held where Mr. Ilya KOMAROV wants to ask a few questions.
