E-Design Olympics: School Students to Master Universal Language of Engineers

Final of E-Design Olympics for school students was held on May 11, 2015 in ONHP.

Drawing is the language and even international language. Without projection drawing it is impossible to consciously interpret drawings and even to express ideas in the form of three-dimensional models, i.e. to communicate in the universal language of engineers. But nowadays drawing as a school subject is unfortunately neglected.

Meanwhile, ONHP encourages talented young people and calls them for developing their capabilities and actually enjoying drawing; that is why the final of Regional E-Design Olympics for school students arranged by PankovA Studio of computer pictorial art, graphics and design in cooperation with PAO OMSKNEFTEKHIMPROEKT was held on May 11, 2015 in ONHP.

Students from 25 schools of the city of Omsk and the Omsk region have sent their works to the Olympics. The tasks of three rounds were developed by ONHP specialists and represented problems on building views, efficient section and isometric view of a component. Within two months school students solved the tasks of the first and second extra-mural phases. The third phase of the Olympics (intramural) was final. It brought together the most talented and capable “great future engineers” at the age of 13 to 16.

Thus, all tasks of Olympics are fulfilled and we are looking forward to the results!
