The diesel fuels hydrotreating plant designed by ONHP was commissioned for operation.

On October 24, at the Gazprom Neft-Omsk Refinery, the diesel fuels hydrotreating plant with the capacity of 3 million tons was commissioned for operation. The ceremony was attended by A.B.Miller, Chairman of the OJSC “Gazprom” Board and President of the “Gazprom Neft” Board of Directors, V.I. Nazarov, Governor of the Omsk Region, I.M. Zuga, Member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly, A.V. Dyukov, Chairman of the “Gazprom Neft” OJSC Board and L.Ya. Deryabina, Acting CEO of ONHP.

By commissioning the diesel fuels hydrotreating plant the Omsk Refinery will completely switch to Euro 5 standard of production of international level diesel fuel in 2013. This is an ambition for the European market and a serious step in the development of Russian oil refining. The diesel fuels hydrotreating plant in the Omsk Refinery can be righteously considered the best in Russia. Implementation of such an ambitious project is the result of work of the highly qualified and well-coordinated team of designers, installers and constructors. While designing the diesel fuels hydrotreating plant, engineers of ONHP applied unique technical solutions, introduced the latest technology and together with the Customer have gained experience in parallel execution of the design and construction stages.

Alexei B. Miller notes that Omsk Refinery has once again proved to be one of the best and most modern refineries of the country. He said that commissioning of the new processing facility would allow “Gazprom Neft” to address more effectively the challenge of providing high quality for strategic fuel Russian customers. Today the “Gazprom Neft” plant increase their pace in producing products meeting international quality standards, greatly improving their environmental performance, which will certainly have a positive impact on the environment. On the refining capacities of the Company, a large-scale program of modernization is implied; after its first stage, “Gazprom Neft” will focus on increasing the oil refining depth. The result will be a further increase in the Company’s efficiency and strengthening “Gazprom Neft” leading positions in the industry.
