Talented school and university students will take part in the regional Olympics in Robotics Technology in October 2014. The winners will get an opportunity to go to the World Robot Olympiad to be conducted in 2015 in Qatar.

Regional Olympics to be arranged by ONHP in the contest of federal program “Robotics technology: engineering and technical resource pool of innovational Russia” will be conducted in Omsk for the first time. Young inventors of Omsk Region aged 10 to 19 will be able to show their skills in design engineering and programming of mechanical assistants. For those who are keen on Robotics Technology it is a real feast as far as it is the only place to meet like-minded fellows, share experience and tie-up professional contacts.

The jury will evaluate participants’ works in “free-style” and “creative-approach” categories by the following themes: “Robots and the space” (WRO theme), “WeDo Projects”, “HUNO Projects”, "LEGO Projects. Physics and Technology. Pneumatics”.

Participants of the Regional Olympics showing the best results will get an opportunity to struggle for the victory at World Robot Olympiad.
