Theatrical Spring at ONHP

On March 23 the theatre club of ONHP will present a play for students and schoolchildren from the supervised schools. The first night of the theatre club of ONHP left nobody indifferent. It was proved by the reviews of the employees of ONHP.

The director of the club, Moisey Vasiliadi, Honoured National Artist of Russia, and its members, the institute employees, represented to their first audience, their colleagues, two one-act funny plays by A.P. Chekhov “A Marriage Proposal” and “The Bear”.

General Director of ONHP  Igor M. Zuga said “Our engineering company is probably one of the few in the world if not the only one which turned the stage of its assembly hall into a theatrical stage. This is a new opportunity for our specialists to reveal their art potential”.

“To be honest, I was not expecting to hear so many praising words about my work and the work of my stage colleagues”, Denis Bichev who interpreted landlord Stepan Stepanovich Chubukov noticed, “Of course, I am happy to have gone through another life test. In the evening I was pleasantly tired. And in the morning I woke up feeling totally happy. There were my kids playing with me and I thought that the more responsibility for something or somebody we assume in our life the more satisfaction we get from it”.

Denis Madgazin who made his first stage appearance as landlord Grigory Stepanovich Smirnov noticed “This first night is our chance to show people that you can find a lot of interesting things for yourself and others in something absolutely new and unknown. What new did I learn from the play and Anton Pavlovich Chekhov? I believe I have not realized it yet. But together with Moisey Philippovich they made my belief in sincerity grow stronger”.

V.S. Rekaev left the following comment on the website of the counselling office of the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk region I.M. Zuga “Sure, I had some doubts before the show. How can people having no theatrical experience, no special training interpret a play? Moreover, most actors are technical specialists. Will they be able to live the role, to transmit the energetics and, most important, to entertain the audience with their work? The actors’ play was great and the most important proof of it was the standing ovation of the audience. Our specialist always do their best at work and now we can see this is the quality that characterizes their attitude to all things… Once again, BRAVO!”

“For me the most memorable character was that of Natalya (interpreted by I. Olyenik). A calm, reserved woman, impersonating the image of the true Russian beauty, sure of its rightness and ready to keep ground. She is soft, tender and feminine when she learns about the purpose of Lomov’s visit and she is calm and determined when she starts arguing with Lomov”, A.K. Kuznetsiv wrote, “I think that the unexpectedly professional performance of our colleagues surprised the audience. I am truly thankful for the diligence and passion of all actors. I hope the theatre club will continue its work and more plays directed by Moisey Philippovich will impress us again and again…

The role of Lomov (interpreted by D. Ivanov, a student of the Omsk State Technical University) in “A Marriage Proposal” is probably the most difficult in the play. The face of the actor, his intonations and jests tell us with so much passion about the character, and his fainting at the end was amazing”.

Galina S. Snycheva, Head of the Counselling Office, expressed her opinion on the theatrical premiere of ONHP: "Moisey Philippovich Vasiliadi is twice the election agent of Igor Mikhailovich Zuga. For the first time he performed this function during the Mayor elections in 2010 and the second time at the elections for the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk region in December of 2011. And this is a great advantage. The tonight’s premiere is a strong tool for the corporate culture formation, especially in its relation to the young people. An institute, designing highly technological petrochemical enterprises, employs highly intellectual professionals. For such people a chance to express themselves and to be recognized is one of the most important motivators. There is hardly something that can compare to the joy of team work. It is fantastic that the director and the theatre club members took on a classic piece. The work of the stage director was amazing! Every actor had a fitting role. A play interpreted in… the assembly hall and not on a theatre stage could give such strong impressions!”
