This is the first social work experience of young specialists, and Mr. Igor M. ZUGA noted social activity as an integral element of professional mobility.

Such informal meetings with young ONHP professionals have become not only a tradition, since the dialogue between company management and recent university graduates, who have their own point of view on many issues, dynamic thinking, specific perception of changes, innovative frame of mind, is an essential part of ONHP lifecycle.

Within the meeting new Council’s committees presented the Program for 2020. Young specialists believe that their participation in the production and social life of the company shall be more active. Most Council members are ex-participants of ONHP corporate program “SCHOOL-UNIVERSITY-COMPANY”, some of them have already taken on the role of mentors for schoolchildren, who will come to the company for summer internship. Their experience creates an opportunity to provide a number of proposals how to change the format of interaction with educational organizations and how to conduct summer internship for school students. Young professionals are sure that they have to closely interact with ONHP Corporate University, in particular, by participating in the development of training and additional professional training programs.

Mr. Igor M. ZUGA deems the young specialists’ activity to be much more various. He is sure that it is young people who shall be involved in the company social life more actively.

“I feel your high involvement in the process, interest in changes and responsibility. The engagement in the Young Professionals’ and Students’ Councils is your first experience in social activities. Young specialists of our company are always active participants of all social programs implemented by ONHP. Social responsibility is a significant part of our company life, part of corporate culture, and you shall become the leaders of public opinion”, Mr. ZUGA concluded.

Ms. Lyudmila A. Sheveleva, ONHP Young Professionals Council Chairman, “This year, the Young Professionals’ Council decided to concentrate on two important directions: professional development of young specialists and training of future employees for the company and the region at whole within the program “SCHOOL-UNIVERSITY-COMPANY”.

“SCHOOL-UNIVERSITY-COMPANY” Program has being implemented by ONHP since 2001 and during this time the program underwent diverse changes. Over the last few years, engineering has been modified significantly, and now the company functions using modern BIM-technologies. Today requirements to future employees are very different from those ones existing five years ago. Therefore, we are going to saturate the summer internship program with up-to-date challenges for the real engineer of the 21st century, to highlight all the trends and directions of modern engineering development.

In the framework of the Corporate University, the Young Professionals’ Council will participate in the development of professional adaptation programs for new specialists. Not so long ago, we passed through these professional development stages, therefore we understand the type of knowledge specialists lack in the initial stages.

Surely, we will not limit the development with only professional point of view. We feel a special social responsibility, because engineering is one of the leading professions that can allow making the world a better place, and it is us who create the future of our company, region and country.”
