ONHP Zero Accidents

Zero accident as one of performance targets has been again successfully reached by ONHP in 2019 confirming high quality of occupational health and safety system implemented in the company. To ensure compliance with the requirements of work-related fatalities, injuries and illnesses regulations all ONHP departments are coordinated by specially assigned Occupational Safety Protection Committee.

When implementing projects of diverse sophistication ONHP constantly demonstrates devotion to safety principles and considers occupational and industrial safety as an essential part of production management.

To ensure safety for its specialists ONHP implements programs aimed at reducing occupational accidents of employees and contractors and introducing risks assessment systems within works execution. At engineering phase special attention is paid to procedures and regulations regarding occupational and professional safety as well as environment protection.

Integrated Management System is firstly intended to present ONHP commitment ensuring safe working conditions to prevent injuries related to the operation process or deterioration of employees’ health.

One of the key objectives in the field of labor protection is to preserve life and health of each employee during professional activities. Employees’ health and the provision of safe working conditions are of top ONHP priority and one of the most important factors for the company success. ONHP has a corporate system aimed at preventing various diseases and identifying risk factors. Among the range of measures there are Health Days, employees’ immunization, support and promotion of healthy lifestyle programs, healthy diet development, medical screening arrangement and many others.  ONHP has Medical and Health Center with day patient facility where ONHP employees can always receive not only medical first aid, but also use various methods to treat a wide range of diseases.

Health and safety of employees include provision of ONHP specialists with sets of special work wear for highly dangerous facilities enabling to work even in the Arctic.
