ONHP at KEW-2019

From September 23 to September 29, ONHP representatives participated in KAZAKHSTAN ENERGY WEEK 2019 (KEW-2019) in Nur-Sultan, comprised of about 20 different events, uniting leaders of industry ministries, heads of large international organizations and oil and gas corporations, representatives of world analytical centers, as well as competent experts in the energy and financial sectors.    

Together with the professional world community, ONHP representatives discussed actual questions regarding the energy sector development. The key event of KEW-2019 was XII KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum. Mohammed Sanusi Barkindo, Secretary General of Petroleum Exporting Countries Organization (OPEC), Olafur Ragnar Grímsson, Chairman of Arctic Circle International Forum and Ex-President of Iceland (1996–2016), Alexander Novak, Energy Minister of the Russian Federation, Khalid A. Al-Falih, Energy Minister of Saudi Arabia, Kanat A. Bozumbayev, Energy Minister of Kazakhstan Republic and other prominent public officials took part in the discussion of global matters related to the energy sector.  

Igor M. Zuga, ONHP CEO, also participating in KEW, emphasized, “we had the opportunity not only to get acquainted with the latest ideas of industry leaders in the field of gas and petrochemical technologies, but also to share our own R&Ds with leading world energy experts, making sure that today ONHP doesn’t just follow trend lines, but sets the pace in many respects.”
