Football Friendly Match
On June 22, 2012 a friendly match between the team of university students and school students taking their internship at the plant and the team of ONHP young specialists was held on the football field in front of the institute. The competition was opened with a solemn line-up.
From the very first moments the game gained a good pace. We would like to mention the brilliant technique showed by the football players as almost every attack of both teams would end in a shot on target. After a brief exchange of goal attempts the team of ONHP young specialists managed to find a gap in the rival defense and opened the scoring (1:0). The guys from the students’ team passed in attack. Although the match was friendly no team wanted to lose and the game was getting intense.
The second time started. The attack of the team of ONHP young specialists precisely and carefully entered the rival zone following a through-ball and Vadim Afonkin became the author of the goal. Since that moment the scoring got more considerable (2:0). But the youngsters did not want to surrender and there was a flow of attacks. The football fans shouted and encouraged the players. After a successful bail inbound and a straight pass in the rivals’ zone the striker of the young specialists heroically left behind two defenders and stroke the net precisely (3:0). Alexander Bulgakov made a goal. The audience kept silence for a while.
After 3-4 minutes of the game the young specialists’ team made a mistake in the defence and paid for it with a net finisher made by Murat Kurmangaliev (3:1). Less than a minute later Murat made the second goal in the net of the young specialists (3:2).
The second time finished quickly like the first one. The players shook hands and thanked each other for a good intense match. We would also like to mention that the first friendly football match between the team of ONHP young specialists and the teams of higher education institutions and school students’ taking their internship at the plant had an international character. Our guests, the students of Atyrau Oil and Gas Institute of the Republic of Kazakhstan, M.S. Kurmangaliev. N.M. Jumagaziev and S.B. Bekbaev played with the team of the young specialists.
Then the solemn moment of summarizing the match came. I.M. Karelina, Head of HR Department thanked the teams for their participation, she praised their high level of playing and sport shape. She mentioned the beginning of a new tradition of our institutes initiated by the young specialists.
