PAO OMSKNEFTEKHIMPROEKT (ONHP) Research Engineering Center for Area Development and Maritime Spatial Planning in St. Petersburg, which is one of ONHP’s subdivisions, has completed modification of spatial planning diagrams for Altay region and Barnaul metropolitan area.

PAO OMSKNEFTEKHIMPROEKT (ONHP) is completing the first year of language policy implementation. The policy objective is that 70% of the company's employees must be proficient in the language of international communication at minimum Intermediate level by 2018. This requirement is primarily resulted from professional contacts of ONHP as an international engineering company. Cooperation with a number of foreign companies requires ONHP specialists to be able to perform bilingual designing works and to speak fluent English during negotiations.

About hundred scientific reports dedicated to energy efficiency, ecological safety, increased efficiency of units and systems operation at petrochemical complex, optimization of processes as well as a range of other up-to-date issues were dwelled upon at VI Interregional Science & Engineering Technology Conference of Young Professionals held from October 31 to November 07, 2015 in PAO OMSKNEFTEKHIMPROEKT (ONHP). Representatives from Tomsk, St. Petersburg, Angarsk as well as Tatarstan and Kazakhstan (Atyrau and Pavlodar) participated in the event in addition to young engineers, high school and university students.

On November 07, 2015 PAO OMSKNEFTEKHIMPROEKT (ONHP) will hold a second phase of VI Interregional Science & Engineering Technology Conference of Young Professionals “From Design to Construction Engineering”, involving high school and university students of Omsk, Tomsk and the Republic of Kazakhstan. Expert jury will be challenged to score about 30 papers related to energy-saving, waste recycling, ash and slag waste management, environmental safety improvement and many others. Based on the conference results the winners will be announced and awarded with special diplomas and memorable gifts.

VI Interregional Conference of Young Professionals “From Design to Construction Engineering” was held in PAO OMSKNEFTEKHIMPROEKT (ONHP). Engineers from different Russian regions and for the first time in the history of the conference Kazakh engineers gave their reports and presented in Omsk their innovative ideas. Mr. Igor M. ZUGA, Member of Expert Council on the Arctic and Antarctic Region at the Council of Federation and Mr. Viktor I. BELOV, Minister of Industry, Transport and Innovative Technologies of the Omsk Region participated in plenary session.
